What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
I got married shortly after the 10 year reunion. Our daughter, Victoria, was born in 1999 and our son, Preston, was born 11 1/2 months later. Consequently, I have little recollection of what happened for the next few years. I left private practice to teach at OSU's law school because the hours and the schedule work better for our family. I now have been with OSU for 7 years. When not at work, I'm driving car pools, hosting play dates, volunteering in classrooms or sprinting off to the next event. We spend as much time as we can in Upper Michigan and British Columbia.
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
I went to Miami University for College then Ohio State for law school. I clerked for a judge then practiced civil litigation with a mid-sized law firm. I met my husband while playing volleyball and we spent our off-work hours playing tenis, volleyball, and walking our dog, as well as traveling out of Ohio whenever possible.
From Elizabeth:
Thanks to the committee for all the work you have put into this reunion.  I have had fun reading about everyone, especially once I figured out how to turn off the music.  I like the song, but hearing it over and over again was a bit much.  I look forward to seeing everyone and catching up on the last 20 (gulp) years.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
In 1997 I emigrated to Canada and took a job as a professor of applied linguistics at the University of Alberta, in the city of Edmonton. I got tenure in 2003 and became a Canadian citizen in 2005. I live in a terrific house in a funky neighbourhood--we built it in 1999, before the oil boom. My work is satisfying, but I also have a very full life outside of that: I'm active in federal politics, I write fiction under a pseudonym, and I'm an avid cyclist and urban gardener. My family and I are very happy here and are settled here permanently.
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
Lots of school: I got a B.A. in German and another in Linguistics at MSU, then went to the U of Michigan for my MA and my Ph.D. Lived in East Germany during the period immediately following the fall of the Berlin Wall--probably the most life-changing experience of my entire life. Spent the summer of 1992 in Belfast, Northern Ireland--almost as life-changing.
From Jennie:
I won't be able to make it down for the reunion--it's an awfully long way to travel just for that--but I hope it turns out beautifully.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
I finally concluded my masochistic attachment to higher education, receiving a Ph.D. in 1998. Since then, I have been teaching music and art history in a small private high school for gifted boys, attached to a Benedictine abbey. For the past three years, I have been doing a lot of freelance writing as a classical music critic for DCist.com and running a Web site on classical music and the arts, ionarts.org. My wife and I now live on Capitol Hill with our two kids.
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
I was a prisoner of the academy, getting a piano degree at Michigan State and then going to graduate school in musicology at Catholic University here in Washington. I lived in Paris for a year while researching my dissertation, which is why I missed our 10th anniversary reunion.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
Working and raising a family. My amazing wife (who I am convinced can leap a tall building in a single bound) and I both work outside the home so with 3 young kids there is not much time for anything else. Trying to find the right balance between work expectations and family life is a challenge as many of you know. I had a few different jobs after graduating from MSU with a degree in telecommunications. I settled in the insurance industry and currently work for Nationwide Insurance Company where I have been for the last 7 years. We live out in the country a bit in Mason where we have a few acres and a couple dogs. What can I say, life is good. We are planning on being at both events. It will be good to see most of you. HaHa.
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
Partied a lot, went to school. Partied some more. Graduated. Got a job.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
I was living in San Diego working for an asset management company when I came to town for the 10 year reunion. In 1999, I moved to NYC to work for Credit Suisse as a trader. I was living in NYC on 9/11, but was thankfully vacationing in Croatia at that time. Lost a lot of friends that day, so decided to move back to the Mid-west to be closer to family. Have been living in Chicago since Dec 2001, and loving every minute of it. I work as an equity trader for a brokerage firm. I live in the city of Chicago, and would NEVER consider a move to the suburbs. Just not my style. I am in a committed relationship with my boyfriend Michael.
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
I went to MSU for BA in Finance, moved to Chicago, worked at an investment firm as a trader, went to University of Chicago for my MBA, then moved to sunny So. Cal.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
I have been working for First National Bank of America for 5 years in different capacities - private mortgage acquisitions anlayst, residential loan officer and now an asset manager for the foreclosure resale division of our bank. I have continued to perform in plays, musicals and sometimes dance shows in the local area (I actually got engaged to my husband while playing the lead in a farce called "Let's Get A Divorce" ). My husband and I bought an old farmhouse on 5 acres in the country which we are renovating (luckily he is a builder!) and usually tend a 50 x 50 garden in the summers. We have a dog, a cat and sometimes chickens (though a fox ate most of the last batch). I enjoy reading, cooking, kickboxing, dance, singing, theater, writing, painting, and pottery. We have a wheel and a kiln at our home. We don't have kids but I am the "favorite aunt" for my 5 neices and nephews who love to spend weekends at "the farm".
What did you do for the 10 years after OHS?:
I got my BA in English at MSU and then went into marketing, leasing and advertising in the property management field. I got my real estate license in 1992. I am still not sure what I want to be when I grow up! I am considering going back to school part time to get my teaching degree or maybe exploring an opportunity to start a personal chef service. My biggest ongoing goal is keeping gravity at bay! Wow it got tough after turning 30! (Especially for someone who loves good food!)
From Rachelle (Shelly):
Wow - 20 years sure snuck up on me!  I am hoping to see lots of people at the reunion ! I didnt have access to my home photos here at work so I put in the headshot from the lobby photos taken for our recent production of Godspell - not exactly a candid shot but oh well!
