Glad to see the reunion turned out great. You all looked great and looked like you were having a good time. Maybe the next one I can attend.

Alex and I have enjoyed seeing the familiar faces from our childhood. It looks like those who attended the reunion had a great time. Thanks to the committee for creating this website which allowed the rest of us to enjoy the class of 1987 as well. Best wishes, perhaps we will see you at the 25th.

Based on all the great photos, looks like a good time had by all! Unable to attend this one, but looking forward to the 25-year (albeit not looking forward to being 40+ yrs old by that time - eesh!). Looking good, Chieftans! Take care.

It was a trip seeing everyone after 20 years. At first it was a shock, but after a few glasses of wine it almost felt like we graduated last year. A bit surreal! I was on the fence about coming, but glad I did. Kudos to the committee, good facility, food, and great website. Thanks for all the hard work.

Hello all...I wish I could have been there, but hope everyone had a great time. Big thanks to the coordinating committee (u know who u are) for putting the reunion together. I looked through the pix and was shocked to see those same faces (literally, unchanged) from our graduating class 20 years ago. Some of you have not aged a bit. Must be something in the MI water?? Best wishes to everyone and I am going to start working out/dieting for the next one...(3 weeks around the track ought to do it!).

I can't make it to the 20 year, but have a great reunion everybody! I'm still in contact w/ lots of friends from high school, but haven't seen some of you since graduating OHS - I'm sorry that I'll miss the reunion and a chance to catch up. My favorite classes were always art, and I'm still doing the artist bit - I hear from Lothar Konietzko that others from our AP Art class are doing the same, so would dig hearing from some of you.

Have a great time at the reunion! I'm sorry I won't be able to attend, we just had our third baby boy and it's keeping us busy. I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years, thanks for all the updates!

What a great bunch of people we've got in our class! Honest, nostalgic, and enthusiastic! We shared something pretty special whether we remember each other really well or not at all. All those years together, all those memories! I find myself telling stories to my kids ALL THE TIME about lessons learned during childhood. Many of you are a part of my family whether you like it or not. I've got stories about the kid who ate glue, the kid who got me sent to the principals office, the kid I won a canoe race with, the kid who made me cry, the kid who got splapped for goosing me, the kid .... the list goes on. We may not all be pen pals or card buddies, but we all played apart in each other's lives. I shudder to think what stories you are telling your kids about "That Lisa girl back in 19....."

Dear all good Okemos-ers, I'm really sorry I won't be able to attend your reunion. Although I never got past the 9th grade at OHS (a move to Chicago is to blame for that), I still consider Okemos where I grew up and I'm far more interested to see people with who I went to Kinawa (and Central and Wardcliff) than I am anyone I actually graduated high school with. One of the big highlights of last year for me was reconnecting with Mark Stehr, who I hadn't seen in 22 years. Just like the rest of us, I'm sure, he had barely changed at all. So I'm sorry I won't be at the reunion, but to commemorate the event I'll be going to a baseball game on Saturday afternoon with my neighbor, Tamara Tsoutsouris, who you all might better remember as Tammy Kaufman. We'll raise a glass to you all. I hope you have a 25th reunion so I can crash that party. Cheers, Aaron Elstein

This is so fun & so surreal! Aren't we all simultaneously the same and so different? Life, adventure, years and --then it all coming back around to the roots! I am SO looking forward to being amidst you all in July. I will need name tags, indeed. Big love.

Wow . . . can't believe ten years have gone by. I got married the weekend after our ten year reunion . . . so lots of interesting and postive memories. So a 20 year reunion . . . normally I would be at my summer office (see OHS reunion page) but I'll make an exception to be in Lansing :) Cheers!

Sounds like a great time and thanks to all who are pulling this together. Sorry in advance if I don't recall your name, I'll be one of the balding / graying guys in the room. Ouch, this 20 year thing is hard to get my head around. It seems like we were all just together on the OHS football field for graduation.

I don't think I'll be attending the reunion but it would be fun to catch up. Can't believe I'm going on 40-Yikes. I wish more people would put a picture on their info. sheet. I'm having a hard time remembering faces with names. Those of you who put this together did an amazing job-Thanks. Carolyn

So far we've got 98 people who are planning on attending on July 21! Please pass the information along to everyone in our class. There are many "still missing" that we've not been able to reach. Thanks! Can't wait to see you all!

Can't believe how long it has been since I have connected with anyone from high school. I see Beth (Ilgen) Cooke during my Easter visits to Columbus but that is about all. That just means I have 20 years of catch-up to do in one weekend (OK, 10 years for those I saw at the last reunion)! Look forward to seeing everyone. Now that I am living back in the US (Chicago), I have no excuses anymore.

I can honestly say, I don't care that it has been 20 years. They have been very productive years. I'm glad to see information on so many people, because I know that I have thought about each of you as I read the bio's. I am looking forward to re-introducing myself at the reunion as the person that I have become and what my husband and I have built together. The stepping stones were worth it to see where I am today. So if anyone is in the Ovid area, stop in some time.

Sadly I will not be able to attend, as I am expecting and will not be able to travel at that time. Many thanks to the reunion team for planning this event. I wish I could attend to catch up with all of those folks I've lost contact with. Hopfully I'll make the 30th reunion ( we'll be really old then - ha ha).

I was really looking forward to coming back to Michigan to attend this reunion, in spite of being forced to confront the fact that we graduated from high school TWENTY. YEARS. AGO. Sadly (but also happily), I will be in Siena, Italy most of the summer, participating in an NEH Summer Seminar -- reading and discussing Dante's "Commedia" and following his footsteps around Italy.

I haven't seen anyone from High School in almost 20 years. I'm not sure what even prompted me to find out the details, but I think I will be attending. Things are great, living in Hermosa Beach, CA. for 10 years and getting engaged very soon! Retired from AVP & FIVB Beach Volleyball Tours in 2004... was incredible/enjoyable, took me to places I thought I would never see. Looking forward to coming back home for a weekend. Regards, Jerry Graham

Hi there! Greetings from the Grand Rapids, Mi area. I sure appreciate all the effort that the committee is putting into getting us together again. After viewing the guest book, I am wondering, "Where is everybody?" It will be fun to visit with whoever can come. The rest of you will be missed.

Kaye (and everyone)- So I guess seeing old friends sparked the interest in returning back to our roots for the 20 year reunion! I've been on the fence for a while but what the heck, I don't need a regret in my life. Plus, I think I have to come back just to hug the reunion committee for not asking me to help plan THIS reunion (after 10 years it still stings a little...) Speaking of, anyone hear from Kris Schneider? I lost track of her after the move out West. Side note, after visiting with Kaye and Beth in NYC my business took me to Seattle where I was surprised by Erika Holden calling up to my room to have breakfast before my meeting. OK, OK, I get it!! See you all there.

Hi everyone! I am hoping to make it home for the reunion. I just had a mini-reunion yesterday with Beth Solin, who lives nearby me in Brooklyn, NYC. We had fun visiting with Courtney Smith, who lives in San Jose, CA but was in NYC on business. It's so strange to blink your eyes and have 20 years go by! Looking forward to that this summer with everyone. All the best, Kaye
